WA Hydroponic Produce have specialised in lettuce varieties for 10 years. We have fine tuned our production so as to provide the optimal characteristics that make hydroponic lettuce and microgreens sought after by chefs and homes alike. We have very good control over pests and so our use of unpleasant chemicals is a small fraction of that used by traditional farmining methods. In addition there are none of the soil-borne problems that come from plants having contact with snails, slugs and other sources of nasty parasites.

Added to this is the outstanding freshness that can be had by harvesting at the speed that we do. And while traditional harvesting might involve a lot of back-breaking bending over we harvest our crop at a comfortable height. As a result our production comes with a much lower rate of injury compared with traditional farming.

Finally, when it comes to presentation those food stylists who have used our product have said that our produce is the most blemish and bruise free leafy product that they have used. Our chefs love how they don’t have to sacrifice time and product in weeding out imperfect leaves. It has been said that our product is ready to be plated. Well, we don’t really know about that, perhaps it is a force of habit that we still wash a pat our product dry before serving it at our own table.
